The 88 is going to be opening for and backing up Ray Davies on a US West Coast tour this July! The final two shows are going to be in Japan on July 28 & 29 at the Fuji Rock Festival. More info on our Shows page.

The 88 had the honor of co-scoring the new Jennifer Westfeldt film, Friends With Kids, which comes out this Friday! They’re also using 3 of our songs (“It’s A Lot”, “Waiting For The Next Drug”, and “Coming Home”). It’s a wonderful film with an excellent cast starring Kristen Wiig, Jon Hamm, Jennifer Westfeldt, Maya Rudolph, Chris O’Dowd, Adam Scott and Megan Fox. Go see it this weekend!

The 88 performed a song in the new movie, The Lorax, and have 3 songs on the soundtrack (“Everybody Needs A Thneed”, “You Need A Thneed”, and “Biggering”). The film comes out today and the songs are now available on iTunes!!
